This was probably my most well received work at the time and of course you can barely see it in the pictures! Black string, monofilament, tape, and white plastic hooks with adhesive on the bottom make up the entirety of this one.
It’s basically a square grid of crisscrossing vertical and horizontal black strings that bow in on all sides from the tension used to support the piece.
Each cross section of string was knotted together at its intersection with the adjoining piece. A piece of string was then draped over every horizontal section of the grid which you can probably see best in pictures four and five below.
